RefundCheck is designed to help users manually track pending and received refunds. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information We Collect
RefundCheck does not require account registration and does not collect personal information on external servers.
Information you enter into the app may include:
- Merchant name
- Refund amount and currency
- Refund request date
- Expected arrival date
- Payment method
- Optional notes
How Your Information Is Stored
Refund records are stored locally on your device. RefundCheck does not upload your refund records to our servers.
Banking and Payment Information
RefundCheck does not connect to bank accounts, payment cards, payment providers, or financial institutions. The app does not process payments and does not automatically verify whether a refund has arrived.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, RefundCheck may schedule local notifications based on the expected arrival date you enter. These notifications are generated on your device.
Third-Party Services
RefundCheck does not use third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or data collection services.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual refund records from within the app. You can also remove all locally stored app data by deleting RefundCheck from your device.
Children’s Privacy
RefundCheck does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app changes. Any updates will be posted on this page.
